Wakefield 2008

Everyone in the RISC OS world is getting ready for the markets premier show, Wakefield 2008.

The venue

This year the show returns to its spiritual home, the Cedar Court Hotel, just off junction 39 of the M1. This played host to the first every Wakefield RISC OS show all those years ago. The show has also moved from May to April and will be taking place on Saturday the 26th.

The full address of the Cedar Court is Denby Dale Road, Calder Grove, Wakefield, WF4 3QZ. As the Cedar Court hotel can be seen from the Motorway it's dead eady to get to. Just leave the M1 at junction 39.

Tickets and times

Tickets cost £5.00 for adults with children under twelve getting in free. Tickets are only available on the day and can obly be purchased using cash or cheque (cards won't be accepted). Last year the show opened at 10:30, this year its gone back to its traditional opening time of 10:00am. So if you are quick you should be able to see some exhibitors having a last minute panic.
