ARM Club Christmas Show
Foundation RISCWorld The ARM Club have now confirmed the date and venue for the 2008 RISC OS Christmas Show. It will be held at the University of Birmingham Guild, Edgbaston Park Road, Birmingham, B15 2TU on Saturday the 6th of December. The show will be open from 10:30 in the morning until 4:00 pm in the evening. Tickets are only available on the door and cost £3.50 for adults. Arm Club and MUG members can get in for only £3.00. Children under 12 will admitted free. As usual the show has been organised by both the ARM Club and the Midlands User Group. In addition to organising the show itself those involved have also been planning some special features for visitors:
As well as the above Paul Stewart will be showing version 3 of his home made A9 laptop and it's also hope to have a number of other "home brew" RISC OS machines on display. As usual you can expect to see most RISC OS companies in attendance as the show provides an ideal opportunity to stock up on all your RISC OS related Christmas presents. The venue has adequate parking, good public transport links and a choice of locations to grab a bite to eat. The latest information can be obtained from the show website at http://mug.riscos.org/show08/index.htm. For those that are considering exhibiting tables are a very reasonable £35 each. As a final note the show organisers have produced an advert in Draw and Artworks format which can be reproduced. We have included a copy in the software directory of this issue. We look forward to seeing you on the 6th of December. Foundation RISCWorld |
